TEXANS 30 | REDSKINS 27 (OT) John McClain grades the Texans

Cowboys jersey
Matt Schaub was sacked five times and hit five more times, but he rallied the Texans from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit by throwing for a career-high 497 yards.
Grade A+
running backs
The Redskins kept Arian Foster from hitting the cut-back lanes, football jersey
but he still ran for 69 yards on 19 carries. He caught three passes for 69 yards.
Grade B
wide Receivers and tight ends
Andre Johnson had 12 catches for 158 yards and a great 34-yard touchdown catch that tied the score at 27. Kevin Walter had 11 receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown. Joel Dreessen's 28-yard catch set up the winning field goal.
Grade A+
offensive line
It didn't dominate the way it did last week. The run blocking was decent.
Grade C-
defensive line
Mario Williams was a demon with three sacks and three Cowboys jersey
hurries. Overall, the linemen did a good job against the run.
Grade B+
linebackers
Zac Diles and DeMeco Ryans combined for 13 tackles. The linebackers did a terrific job of stopping the run but had problems in pass coverage.
Grade C
secondary
Donovan McNabb burned the secondary with one long play after another, throwing for 426 yards. The cornerbacks need to improve in a hurry.
Grade F
special teams
Neil Rackers kicked field goals of 47, 43 and 35 yards, the Pittsburgh Steelers jersey
last one the game-winner. He missed from 47. The Texans had too many penalties on returns. Bernard Pollard had a huge block of a field goal.
Grade B
coaching
Nobody has to tell Gary Kubiak and his staff how badly their team played on both sides of the ball and special teams at times, but the Texans made enough plays to win.
